Is this a regular tour package or something different?
Adhyay is not a typical tour package. We offer both fixed itineraries and fully customised journeys. Every experience is thoughtfully designed with curated stays, seamless logistics, meaningful rituals, and a strong focus on comfort, detail, and personalisation.

Stay, Travel & Logistics

How are hotels selected, and what level of stay can we expect?
We select the finest available premium or luxury properties at each destination. The exact hotels depend on destination, availability and journey design, and options are always shared before confirmation.

Will we need to manage hotel check-ins or any logistics ourselves?
No. All arrangements, including hotel check-ins, are coordinated by our hospitality team. The experience is designed to be effortless, so you do not have to manage any operational details.

How is travel arranged during the journey?
Travel is thoughtfully planned around your preferences and chosen destination. Whether it involves a dedicated ground team, chartered services, flights, trains, private luxury vehicles, or even helicopter transfers for select routes, every detail is carefully coordinated.

Who manages airport pickups and local transportation?
Our hospitality team will arrange and coordinate a private vehicle with a professional driver and assign the same for all transfers. The vehicle type is selected based on your group size, comfort level, and preference.

Can we arrange our own travel and let you handle the rest?
Yes. You may book your own flights or trains, and we can manage all other aspects including hotels, transfers, meals, rituals, and on-ground coordination.

Who handles bookings for the entire journey?
We manage all bookings end-to-end—including VIP darshans, accommodation, transport, meals, experiences, rituals, and coordination—ensuring a seamless experience.

Assistance & On-Ground Support

Will someone from your team assist us during the journey?
Yes. A dedicated journey host and our local support team is assigned to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Will there be guides or spiritual facilitators?
Yes, destination specialists, margdarshaks, cultural experts, kathavachaks, and knowledgeable priests are arranged throughout the journey to provide deeper spiritual understanding, cultural insights, and a more meaningful experience for every traveller.

Planning & Customisation

How far in advance should we plan or confirm a journey?
Ideally, journeys should be confirmed 60 to 90 days in advance. For high-demand periods such as Rath Yatra, Dev Deepawali or other festive seasons, earlier planning is recommended, ideally upto a year before.

Is last-minute planning possible?
It may be possible depending on availability, but advance planning ensures better hotel options, smoother logistics, and overall experience quality.

Can the journey be customised according to our preferences?
Yes. Every journey can be fully customized according to your preferences — including the duration, pace, hotels, meals, rituals, destinations, and experiences. All customizations and exclusive arrangements are planned separately and may include additional costs depending on the requirements.

Can multiple destination be combined?
Yes, it can be designed as per your choice we design multi city journeys combining spiritual, cultural, and leisure experience.

 

Can we include leisure time?
Yes, all itineraries are flexible as per your comfort and choice.

 

Pricing & Payment

What is the cost of the journey, and how is pricing decided?
Pricing depends on multiple factors such as destination, travel dates, number of guests, type of stay, transport preferences, and inclusions. Both, group and private journeys are available, and costs are shared after understanding your requirements.

What is the payment process?
Once the journey is finalised, a detailed proposal and payment schedule are shared. The booking is confirmed upon receipt of the advance payment. For bookings made more than 45 days in advance, a 50% advance is required. For bookings made within 45 days of the journey, full payment is required in advance.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 45 days before the proposed travel date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount. Cancellations made within 45 days of the proposed travel date are non-refundable. If one guest in a twin-sharing accommodation cancels up to 15 days prior to the commencement of the journey date, single occupancy charges will apply to the remaining guest. Partial participation or early exit from the journey is not eligible for any refund.

Group vs Private Journeys

What is the difference between group and private journeys?
Group journeys follow a shared itinerary with a small, curated group of guests. Private journeys are fully customised and designed exclusively for you, offering greater flexibility and privacy.

What is the typical group size for group journeys?
We intentionally keep our group sizes small to ensure comfort, personalised attention, and a high-quality experience. Typically, each group is limited to a maximum of 25 couples, allowing us to maintain an intimate and well-curated journey for every guest.

Special Needs & Accessibility

Is the journey suitable for families, senior citizens, or children?
Yes. We design journeys keeping comfort in mind, with flexible pacing, comfortable stays, and assistance where needed. Special care is taken for senior citizens and families with children.

What support is available for elderly or differently-abled guests?
We arrange wheelchair assistance, accessible stays, and carefully planned movement to minimise physical strain wherever possible. A medical kit is always available both at the hotel and in each vehicle, and medical assistance is coordinated with the best available hospitals in the city whenever required.

Meals & Preferences

How are meals planned during the journey?
Meals are thoughtfully curated based on the destination and your preferences. In some cases, menus are pre-designed for quality and experience, and you will always have the flexibility to choose.

Can dietary preferences be accommodated?
Yes. Vegetarian, Satvik, Jain, Vegan and special dietary preferences can be accommodated throughout the journey. Guests are requested to inform the team in advance so arrangements can be planned accordingly for a comfortable and seamless experience.

Spiritual Experiences & Darshan

Do you arrange rituals, poojas, or temple experiences?
Yes. We arrange priests, pooja samagri, and temple-related experiences with VIP protocol darshans and poojas, depending on local permissions and availability.

Is VIP or priority darshan included?
Yes VIP darshan is included. We assist with access wherever officially available. However, final arrangements are subject to temple authorities and local regulations. The curated access status is shared before booking confirmation.

Will we have to wait in Queues?
We minimise waiting through planning and VIP darshan protocols.

Safety, Medical & Insurance

Is travel insurance included?
Travel insurance can be arranged upon request. It is recommended and mandatory for certain journeys.

Is Medical insurance included?
Medical insurance is mandatory and can be arranged upon request.

How do you ensure safety during the journey?
We work with trusted partners, experienced drivers, verified properties, and local teams to ensure safety and reliability at every step.

Will there be medical support available if needed?
Yes. A medical kit is always available both at the hotel and in each vehicle. In case of any emergency, medical assistance is coordinated with the best available hospitals and healthcare facilities at the destination.

Itinerary & Flexibility

Will we receive an itinerary before the journey?
Yes. A detailed, personalised digital itinerary is shared ahead of departure with all stay details, darshan timings, experience descriptions, escort contact, and emergency information. Nothing is a surprise unless we have specifically designed it to be a beautiful one.

Do you provide a detailed itinerary before the journey?

Will we receive all travel details in advance?
Yes. All confirmations, schedules, contacts, and instructions are shared in advance for clarity and transparency.|

 In case of any delays or weather-related disruptions, our team proactively manages the situation to ensure minimal inconvenience to you. We make necessary adjustments to your itinerary, including rescheduling darshan, travel, or accommodations wherever possible. With dedicated ground support and a 24/7 assistance team, you are continuously guided and supported, ensuring your journey remains smooth, safe, and stress-free.

Can additional services like photography or local experiences be included?
Yes. We can arrange photography, cultural experiences, local interactions, and curated shopping visits wherever they complement the journey experience.

Documentation & Formalities

What kind of documentation is needed for Darshan and registration?
A valid Aadhaar Card or PAN Card is typically required for registration and darshan. Any additional documents, if needed, will be communicated to you in advance. Our team will guide and assist you through the entire process, ensuring all requirements are completed smoothly and without hassle.

Will there be any kind of dress code for Darshan?
There is no strict dress code for darshan from Adhyay’s side. However, as the experience is centred around temples, we encourage travellers to dress modestly and respectfully, keeping the sanctity of the place in mind.

However, certain temples and spiritual destinations may have their own dress guidelines or traditional requirements, which will be shared with guests at the time of booking and before the journey.
