TERMS & CONDITIONS
Adhyay is a sacred journey and cultural experience offered under Journey by Lakshurious. By confirming your booking with Adhyay, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
1.1
For bookings made more than 45 days before the journey date, a 50% advance payment is required to confirm participation, with the balance payable 45 days prior to the commencement of the journey date.
1.2
For bookings made within 45 days of the journey date, 100% advance payment is required at the time of booking.
1.3
A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable advance payment and written confirmation issued by Adhyay.
1.4
Any upgrades or additions requested by the guest after confirmation will be charged additionally and are subject to availability.
1.5
In the event of a failed payment transaction, deduction without confirmation, banking delay, or technical gateway issue, guests are requested to immediately contact the Adhyay team with transaction details for verification and assistance.
1.6
All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Any payment gateway charges, foreign exchange conversion charges, or bank processing fees applicable at the guest’s end shall be borne by the guest.
2. Inclusions & Exclusions
2.1 Inclusions
The following are included as part of the Adhyay experience:
1. Private rooms, inter-venue transfers throughout the duration of the journey.
2. Meals as specified in the itinerary.
3. Complimentary foot and head massage sessions at your hotel, wherever available and included as part of the selected journey (pre-booking recommended).
4. Spa sessions at discounted rates, wherever available and included within the selected journey, bookable directly at the hotel (details shared upon booking).
5. Sound healing therapy, yoga, and meditation sessions are part of the curated experience, wherever available and included within the selected journey.
6. On-ground medical emergency support through qualified doctors and accredited hospitals.
7. VIP darshans, prasad, guides.
8. Evening kathas, and satsang sessions wherever available and part of an itinerary.
2.2 Exclusions
The following are not included and will be charged separately:
1. Flights and airfare of any kind.
2. Any food & beverage items that are not included as part of the itinerary will be charged additionally and payable directly by the guest.
3. Any additional or unscheduled transfers beyond those included in the itinerary.
4. Any other deviation from the defined itinerary, made at clients requests.
3. Journey Permits & Government Approvals
3.1
Certain journeys may require government registrations, permits, Shrine Board approvals, medical certificates, RFID registrations, or other regulatory clearances.
3.2
Where applicable, Adhyay may assist in the coordination process; however, issuance and approval remain solely subject to the relevant government authorities, temple administrations, Shrine Boards, or regulatory bodies.
3.3
In the event that any required permit, registration, or approval is denied, delayed, suspended, or withdrawn by the relevant authority, Adhyay shall not be held responsible for the inability to commence or continue the journey.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
4.1
Cancellations made more than 45 days before the proposed travel date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
4.2
Cancellations made within 45 days of the proposed travel date are non-refundable.
4.3
If one guest in a twin-sharing accommodation cancels up to 15 days prior to the commencement of the journey date, single occupancy charges will apply to the remaining guest.
4.4
Personal add-ons (beyond complimentary inclusions) are confirmed only after full payment and are refundable only up to 10 days before the event date.
4.5
Partial participation or early exit from the journey is not eligible for any refund.
5. Non-Arrival & Delayed Arrival
5.1
Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated starting point on time.
5.2
If a guest misses any segment due to delayed flights, personal delays, or logistical issues on their end, Adhyay will endeavour to assist in rejoining the group and getting the missed part of the journey completed; however, refunds cannot be provided for any missed portions.
5.3
Any additional transport or arrangements required for rejoining the group and/or arranging the missed part of the journey separately will be charged at actuals, if required.
6. Wellness & Experiences
6.1
Complimentary foot and head massage sessions can be pre-booked at your hotel, wherever available and included within the selected journey. Availability is subject to hotel scheduling.
6.2
Spa sessions are paid for directly at the hotel at a discounted rate, details of which will be shared with guests prior to the journey.
6.3
Sound healing therapy, yoga, and meditation are integral parts of the Adhyay experience, wherever available. Guests are requested to be present on time to fully benefit from these sessions.
6.4
Certain outdoor experiences are weather-dependent. In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, alternate arrangements will be made at the discretion of the organisers.
7. Health, Fitness & Insurance
7.1
We have tied up with local accredited hospitals, and qualified doctors will be accessible through the journey team. Necessary emergency medical supplies will also be available throughout the experience.
7.2
Guests must inform Adhyay team in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements so the team can prepare appropriately.
7.3
While Adhyay provides basic on-ground emergency medical support, guests remain responsible for their personal medical decisions, pre-existing conditions, and any specialised care beyond what can reasonably be provided during travel.
7.4
It is mandatory that guests maintain their own personal health insurance coverage for the duration of the journey.
7.5
Certain journeys may involve uneven terrain, walking distances, altitude conditions, or physically demanding environments. Guests are advised to assess their personal health and mobility suitability before booking.
7.6
Guests are strongly encouraged to maintain comprehensive travel insurance coverage.
7.7
Adhyay shall not be held liable for health complications arising from undisclosed pre-existing medical conditions or individual physical limitations.
8. Changes in Itinerary
8.1
Itinerary modifications may be required due to weather conditions, government directives, safety advisories, operational constraints, temple closures, Shrine Board restrictions, or local circumstances. Adhyay reserves the right to make such adjustments.
8.2
Any changes made will aim to preserve the overall integrity and spirit of the journey.
9. Meals & Dietary Requirements
9.1
Meals specified in the itinerary are included. Any orders placed outside the curated menus will be billed directly to the guest.
9.2
Kids’ meals will be available at all venues.
9.3
For any specific dietary requirements such as vegan preferences or food allergies, guests must inform Adhyay at the time of booking and again at hotel check-in.
10. Behaviour & Conduct
10.1
Guests are expected to conduct themselves with respect and sensitivity at all venues, including sacred, heritage, cultural, and community spaces.
10.2
Guests must follow venue guidelines, dress codes, photography restrictions, and instructions issued by local authorities or custodians.
10.3
Any conduct deemed disrespectful or disruptive may result in removal from that segment of the journey without refund. Any damages or additional charges incurred during the journey shall be payable by the guest.
10.4
Any damages caused to AR/VR equipment, structured domes, or other technical installations during the journey shall be chargeable and payable by the guest.
10.5
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the journey. Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for the safety and wellbeing of minors.
11. Photography, Videography & Drone Restrictions
11.1
Photography, videography, and drone usage may be restricted at certain venues and must comply with local regulations.
12. Personal Belongings & Valuables
12.1
Adhyay will provide recommended protocols for safeguarding valuables such as hotel safes and guided handling at venues.
12.2
Adhyay and its organisers will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the journey.
12.3
Guests who choose not to follow the suggested safety protocols do so at their own risk.
13. Transfers & Transport
13.1
Private inter-venue transfers during the journey are included as specified in the itinerary.
13.2
Any additional or unscheduled transfers will be chargeable and can be pre-booked with the Adhyay team.
14. Force Majeure
14.1
Adhyay shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, modifications, or disruptions caused due to:
· natural disasters
· extreme weather
· political unrest
· strikes
· government restrictions
· pandemics
· temple closures
· road blockages
· acts beyond reasonable control
14.2
Adhyay acts as a curator and facilitator of experiences and shall not be held liable for unforeseen incidents, injuries, delays, losses, or disruptions caused by third-party service providers, weather conditions, government actions, or circumstances beyond operational control.
14.3
VIP darshans, helicopter services, special access privileges, and priority entries remain subject to government approvals, temple administration policies, weather conditions, and operational feasibility.
14.4
In situations of force majeure, Adhyay reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, or reasonably alter the journey itinerary in the interest of safety and operational feasibility.
14.5
Where possible, reasonable future credits, rescheduling options, or partial adjustments may be offered at the sole discretion of Adhyay and subject to third-party vendor policies.
15. Cancellation by Adhyay
15.1
If Adhyay cancels a journey for any reason other than force majeure, guests may receive a full refund of the amount received by Adhyay or the option to transfer to another journey date.
16. Pricing Errors & Booking Transfers
16.1
In the event of a manifest pricing error on the website or booking communication, Adhyay reserves the right to cancel the affected booking and provide an appropriate refund or revised booking option.
16.2
Confirmed bookings are non-transferable unless expressly approved in writing by Adhyay.
17. Amendments to Terms & Conditions
17.1
Adhyay reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time for operational, legal, regulatory, or service-related reasons.
17.2
Such amendments shall not materially affect already confirmed bookings unless required by law.
18. Governing Law
18.1
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.
